Tirta Gangga Water Palace

Built in 1946 by the last King of Karangasem, Tirta Gangga (‘water of the Ganges’) is a maze of ponds, fountains and carved statues fed by a sacred spring.

Hop across the octagonal stepping stones, feed the koi, and swim in the spring-fed pool surrounded by rice fields.
