Mount Batur

At 1,717 metres, Mount Batur is the most popular hike in Bali. The trail starts in the dark and reaches the crater rim for sunrise, when the sky lights up behind Mount Agung and the clouds sit below you.

The Kintamani area around the caldera also offers lakeside hot springs, coffee plantations and restaurants with panoramic views.
