Experience story
Rapids, rainforest, and roasted beans

The Ayung River cuts a deep green canyon right through the Ubud highlands. Within minutes of pushing off you are surrounded by cliffs draped in ferns, carved stone reliefs, and small waterfalls tumbling into the river.
After the last rapid you climb back up through the rice fields to a hot shower and a well-earned lunch. On the drive home we stop at an agrotourism plantation where the farmers show how cacao, vanilla, and coffee are grown and roasted — and where you can taste the island's famous kopi luwak if you are curious.
